Our Services

The goal of our music ministry is to lead our congregation in passionate, dynamic and authentic worship. Our desire in our times of corporate worship is to exalt Jesus Christ, making His name famous. Music is an incredible gift given to us by God, and we treasure every opportunity to give it back to Him as a sacrifice of praise.

Currently our worship services are in a blended format. We draw from both contemporary and traditional sources of music and include scripture, drama, video – anything that we feel helps us to focus on God and His redeeming work through Christ as witnessed to us by the Spirit. Our worship is not focused on style. Worship is more about heart than art. We do strive to minister with excellence, but ultimately we believe that our worship is for the audience of One.

First Naz Choir
Serving as the foundation of our worship leading team,  The First Naz Choir leads our congregation in Worship during our Sunday Morning Service. Comprised of adults, high school age and older, the First Naz Choir is open to anyone with a desire to lead through praise  In addition to leading our congregation each week, the First Naz Choir also presents various specials during the year such as seasonal productions and Nights of Praise.

As a member of Conway First Church of the Nazarene, you have the opportunity to be part of one of our most exciting ministries in our church. We are always seeking men and women who have a passion for praise and worship to join us as we lead our church family in worship every week. Auditions are not held for our choir. Worship Teams
In addition to choir, we use worship teams on a regular basis. We draw our worship team members out of the First Naz Choir.

Worship Band
If you have interest in playing with our worship band, please contact Pastor Kent. This group plays for all of our services. We also include other instrumentation for specific songs or services, so please contact us if you are interested in participating.

Technical Assistance
Do you have interest and skills in the area of lighting, sound, or other technical field? This also includes those who enjoy working with computers, video, and other media services. If so, we would like to talk to you. Please contact Pastor Kent to find out more about our current needs.
