Sunday Night L.I.FE.Life Is For Everyone Sunday Night Life was birthed from the conviction that a vast majority of church resources and man-power is dispensed on “the already converted.” In recent days, God has led us to a decision to carve into the schedule of our church an intentional time where the main focus is reaching out to the unsaved. It was time for sacrifice in order to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). The sacrifice we are making is Sunday evening worship. A true gift usually has a component of generosity and sacrifice. In terms of Sunday Night Life, we are generously giving away Sunday night worship by sacrificing something that primarily is designed for the believer: Sunday Night Church. Instead we will now meet in homes, parks, restaurants, etc. We will meet as Sunday School Classes, small groups, block parties, men’s and women’s groups. Here is our Purpose: Sunday Night Life Mission Fellowship through Sunday School or ?Current attendersNew or attenders who have no current connection

Sunday Night Life Three-fold Purpose Getting to know each otherGetting to know our church Getting to know the Lord
Will God bless such a sacrifice? Could "lights out" at the church on Sunday night and "lights on" at my house with a couple of unchurched people really be blessed by God? Actually, I think it would make him dance! He must have been dancing over Acts 2:46-47: "And day by day continuing in one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved. As we all know Jesus told us to “go.” If we are to be intentional about building bridges with lost people, then it makes sense to build into the life of our church a time when we are “out there with them (their turf)” as opposed to requiring them to come “in here with us (our turf).” Essentially it is doing ministry like Jesus did. May God bless our efforts as we go into the harvest that God has prepared just for us.
